Default I think I have freak beans!

Ever since I stocked up on dried beans, I have been finding that they are
cooking far faster than what it says on the package. I am not soaking them
overnight. I am doing the quick soak. As in bring them to a boil, maybe
boil for 2 minutes (depends on the bean), let sit for an hour then cook.

Tonight I made Great Northern beans. Package says to cook for 1.5 to 2
hours after the soaking. But they were perfectly done at a half an hour.
Weird. But tasty!

I soaked my small white beans overnight and they were fully cooked in
30 minutes too.
