Default Did you remember to change your clocks? All your clocks?

I apparently forgot the most important one-- the clock in the bedroom. Got
up and was making breakfast and noticed the microwave on the hutch had the
correct time (so I thought). But I didn't remember changing that one, was
sure I didn't; so how did it have the "correct" time-- same as the bedroom
clock? Then I realized: I had changed the oven and other microwave clock
but not the bedroom clock. And the cell phone doesn't update till you turn
it off and back on, (though if you cross a time zone it is automatic)....
so I'm up a bit early this morning.

I did some. Need to do my watch, the bedroom ones and the one in my van.
And yes, I should be in bed.

I got up at my traditional time this morning....4:30.
Not until I was up for awhile did I realize it was actually 3:30. oh
well...just another extra weekend hour to enjoy.

Our cellphones have changed automagically for at least the past five
years (on Verizon wireless).

My cell phone doesn't adjust to a new time zone until I place a call,
then it updates.

Mine stayed on all night and was correct time when I got up this morning.
A few years ago though it didn't change until 10am that morning.

My Verizon FIOS phone will have to receive a call before the time
corrects itself but I've known that for a long time. At least the
computer has set itself.

My understanding that in least in the case of Verizon wireless they
explicitly send out a refresh to force your phone to change time. Thats
pretty easy to do on cellular systems because they can do it without
ringing the phones. I think landline phones only get the time when a
call is initiated.

Excellent attitude! I didn't change my clocks last night. It's the same
time here, AFAIC. It doesn't matter whether it is an hour earlier or an
hour later. This morning my cat's inner clock still thought it was time to
wake me up. It was 7:00, not 8:00. I still got up and fed her Then I
took a shower to really wake up. Some time in the next couple of hours I
might contemplate cooking breakfast or brunch

My phone adjusted automatically overnight back to Standard, but I
changed time zones less than a week ago and can tell you that it
didn't update until I placed a phone call. When I did that, the
clocks on both phones adjusted.

Why on earth would I want to change the time on my clocks today?

Only my computer and my programmed thermostat seemed to know about the
time change. My radio alarm went off an hour too early but I realized
that and had a extra hour's sleep :-)

I never reset the clock in my car anymore. You can't see the buttons
very well and last time I tried to change it I pressed the wrong
button and it ended up being 30 minutes off. So when we're on
Standard Time it's 30 minutes fast. When we're on Daylight Saving
Time it's 30 minutes slow.
