The 2012 Thanksgiving has been Cancelled in the United States.
Due to the Election Results, it has been determined that Americans have *NOTHING* to be thankful for. Add to this the poor state of the economy, which makes it impossible for many Americans to purchase food to make the traditional Thanksgiving dinners. If you want to cook a turkey dinner, feel free to do so, but you will only be cooking a dinner, not being thankful, since there's absolutely nothing to be thankful for in 2012, particularly after the recent election. Those of you who still have employment, will be required to attend your job as any other day of the week, since the holiday is officially cancelled. |

Not everyone is happy, and certainly not my state, who voted overwhelmingly for Romney, and has a petition going to sucede from the U.S. I like the OP's post, and thought it was spot on! Judy |

You should be thankful that you live in a country where you are free to whine and disagree and fuss and **** and moan all you like. You should be thankful that you live in a country that doesn't put you in jail for disagreeing with your government. |

I may not agree with others, but I'll fight for their right to secede from the nation when they disagree with me, and fight for their right to keep me from voting to save their freedoms from people in their political party. Wait a minute! Who the hell am I fighting for again? |

The main result would be a 20% rise in the collective IQ of the remaining United States. So go right ahead and "sucede". |
