Not really. There was a program available that would create one from a
photograph. I remember trying it out many years back but can't remember
whether it was good, bad or indifferent. Probably still available on the
net.

Just had a look. Seems like there are a lot of programs that can do the
conversion nowadays. Even Picasa can do it.
