Default Newt at home...

Newt at home:

Walking around some, begining to explore, but still recuperating.
Definitely not feral, Newt is a lovely lap cat and a big time purrer.

Awwwww!!! So cute. He looks so content there. He didn't belong
outside, fending for himself. Thanks for taking him in.

Love those soft looking tufts of fur on his paws! He looks like a good
sized cat. What does he weigh?

Thank you. He certainly is a handsome boy, look at the size of those
paws. He's a bit yellowish from the meds they used to swab him down
when he was prepped for surgery, it will grow out.

Newt is a pretty boy, and he is a lap full. Thanks for giving him a
decent home, that says a lot about you.

Each day explores a little further, he's already checked under the
guest bedroom bed, that's where Peach and Blackie snooze.

So what do the housecats think of him?

Not much interaction yet. They've just looked at each other very
briefly. Newt sleeps shut in his bedroom, he still can't jump on a
chair or move very fast, he's still not physically able to interact on
his own.

I really like his size. I like big cats, and he has a handsome face too.

What a great kitty, Sheldon. I'd be proud to be his "person".

I was wondering why his fur was discolored, now it makes perfect sense.
Best of luck to you and him and keep us posted!
