Yeah, I found it hidden under the "gear" icon. But I can't find a way
to search on a message ID anymore. Like this one: Message-ID: > Bob |

I don't like the latest Google (they're pushing Google Chrome down our throats). It's almost impossible to find posts from newsgroups anymore. If that's what you were asking about. Jill |

I've bookmarked the old advanced_search page. That still works... for now. (I bet it disappears soon) Bob |

Thank goodness I bookmarked a long time ago. http://groups.google.com/advanced_se...l=en&q=&hl=en& -- Susan N. BUT it is extremely offputting (to me), very different from the Mozilla-type browsers that I have always used. I intend to use it judiciously and without logging in unless it is for something that I need to log in for. I started having the impression that google just wanted to make you use another browser, and they hoped it would be theirs. For one thing. You could see for a split second that, say, youtube was fine on your old browser, but then they'd switch that to a page that claimed the old browser was incompatible, you were getting a "light" version, etc., etc. |
