Default Strawberry ice cream

It's Spring so I've got a glut of fresh eggs and strawberries. For once
we'v managed to over have more strawbs than the Blue Tongued Lizards can
manage to eat and so have been harvested tubs full.

For anyone with a similar glut, Nigella Lawson's Straberry icecream uses 10
egg yolks and 500 grams of strawberries and it's a superb ice cream.

Wow.... 10 yolks? The rest of the recipe is pretty much the one I use,
but it works just fine with only two yolks.

Using 2 yolks would never fix the egg glut problem I mentioned. If I had to
buy my eggs from a shop I'd probably seek a more yolk frugal recipe such as
yours.

I guess I was focusing more on the glut of strawberries than the glut of
eggs. In that case I would suggest cherry custard.

LOL. And cherry custard wouldn't fix my strawberry glut.
