![]() As luck would have it, I came down with a cold on Christmas Day, along with a pesty cough, especially when I lay down, and keeps me from being able to sleep. I've never had good results with over-the-counter cough meds, and most have warnings on them, if a person has high blood pressure, etc. so would rather not take anything like that. My mother use to make something up when I was a kid, and seems to me one ingredient was honey, and seems like maybe she used lemon juice too, but I can't be certain, but I know there are natural mixtures that alleviate a "ticklish" throat, so does anyone have any suggestions? I would appreciate any advice, including the proportions. There is nothing worse than trying to suppress a cough, but seems like when I get started, it will just keep aggravating me! Appreciate anything you can pass on to me....thanks! Judy |
