Default Eating pomegranates.

Do I just chew the coated seeds and then spit them out? Doesn't sound
like something Emily Post would do.

Spit them out? I never do. I just eat them.

I had to think about that. When I eat a corn, bean, & pomegranate salad, I
eat everything.

I was eying those up at the store the other day.

Whoa! That's a new one. I don't think I have ever heard of that.

I threw that up for thought, not long ago.

Well I'm not sure it was a good one but then I've never tried it. I
sometimes do a corn salad with black or kidney beans, onions, peppers,
cilantro and a lime dressing. But... I prefer to use fresh raw corn
straight from the cob. Daughter loves it this way too. But the others we
served it to said, "Ew! This corn is RAW!" As if that were a bad thing. I
was like... Yeah, it's raw. I know that. It was actually a raw vegan
recipe I had started out with but I added the beans for protein which
clearly were not raw. But sprouted chickpeas or lentils would work equally
well in such a dish.

Not a pomegranate eater here, but I know Trader Joe's sells seeds only
in the refrigerated section - so I don't think you'd spit them out.

What I *have* done is reduce pomegranate juice (with sugar) to a syrup
and it was sublime.

When I was a child we were given half a pomegranate with a pin and we used
to pick them out and it the seed too

No, not the same thing. It's aka: pomegranate molasses.

I don't dislike pomegranate juice but I don't eat the fruit because I
dislike swallowing seeds or spitting them out. I don't eat grapes with
seeds either for the same reason.
