I had a Chinese friend from Hong Kong who despised Szechuan food; too hot and garlicky in his opinion. A lot of Chinese places try to cater to Western tastes and serve several different regional foods, not necessarily all that successfully. I just discovered today what everyone else probably already knows... spaghetti and meatballs is an American invention. -- Food is an important part of a balanced diet. |
