8 slices dried beef
8 halves boneless chicken breast 10 3/4 oz can condensed cream of mushroom soup 1 cup dairy sour cream 1/2 cup slivered almonds 1/3 cup bacon bits Roll each chicken halve in a beef slice. Place in casserole dish, nestled together. Combine soup and sour cream and pour over chicken. (can be refrigerated overnight if wish.) Sprinkle with almonds and bacon bits. Bake COVERED at 325 degrees 75-90 minutes. I have made this dish and it is excellent. I have always wanted to try it with other slices of meat-pepperoni in particular, and switch out the bacon bits for crushed baked pepperoni slices. |
