Default Another sandwich dream

I had another sandwich dream last night. I think this one's a keeper:
Slices of honey/maple glazed turkey breast, in a pita, drizzled with
bittersweet chooclate.

Savoury and sweet altogether isn't my fav pairing.
I don't dream of sandwiches, but if I did it would be something like...
sausage & onions & peppers cooked on a hotplate (*), a fried egg, ketchup
and asiago cheese in a ciabatta bread.

I could go for that.

To heck with the ketchup police.

Would you scramble the egg?

Got to side with Chemo on this one. That sounds highly disgusting. On the bright side I forwarded this off to my old Viet Nam Veteran pal and he say he will take two bags of whutever you got..sight unseen. Let me know and I will forward it off to him. Thanks.

I would cook it to be as plain as possible, sunny side up just over the
sausage and veggies.

Earlier this week I recounted a dream in which I was eating some
thinly-sliced, maple-honey-glazed turkey in pita, with bittersweet chocolate
drizzled on top. Here the results of the taste test of this sandwich from my
buddy Jim the Hobo:

Note: I didn't have bittersweet chocolate so I used U-Bet chocolate syrup
(just a drizzle).
Tastes good. I like it. I'm not sure if I should think of this sandwich
as being sweet or savory. Is it savory, like a Mexican mole sauce? Or is it
sweet like chocolate-dipped beef jerky? I don't know.
I also tried the syrup with maple-glazed ham. It was disgusting. And I
also tried the turkey sandwich with a small chunk of milk chocolate. It was
bizarre experience. I couldn't really detect the flavor of the chocolate. As
far as my taste buds were concerned it could have been dirt, or something
worse.
