Default Whatever happened to Pillsbury Butterflake Rolls?

The ones in a tube. They were favorites ofmy family for decads then
they just sort of disappeared off the supermarket shelf.

We tried the new FROZEN Butterflakes and they suck.

WHAT HAPPENED???

Be sure to let them know where you live. If the product is available
they will let you know which stores in your area carry the product.
Pillsbury certainly gets points for customer ervice on that end

I have seen the crescent rolls. I think the new frozen rolls and
biscuits are so popular they may be outselling the canned breads. We
love the frozen biscuits and rolls. Have not tried the microwave frozen
so have no opinion on those. I will look for the canned butterflake
rolls.

I have noticed that my supermarket seems to shift the product lines they
carry based on seasonal demand. There has been a recent dramatic increase
in things like frozen pies that people will consume during the holidays. I
suspect that people buy more refrigerated and frozen dinner rolls between
November and January than during the rest of the year. Maybe these rolls
will reappear shortly.

I think they are the same as the "golden layers" sold by Pillsbury in
a tube. Maybe some sort of law covering calling them "butter"
flaked...has to be a certain % of real butter or something. Truth in
labelling laws....blah blah blah...
