Anyone used it-candied or otherwise? How does it taste?

I have never used it or tasted it by itself but have this carton of
candied citron. I am toying with the notion of a cheesecake.

Do you think a carton of candied citron would combine well with a can of
almond filling?

Citron has a powerful, distinct flavor, you would not need much citron
in a cheesecake. Taste the citron first, and see what you think.
