Alzheimer's is a cruel disease, It not only is degenrative and
incurable, the victim often cannt even fathom or really understand
what's happening to them!

I can understand now that if you come and go out of the memory loss, it
could be very upsetting to realize that you are "losing it." Sounds like,
at least for awhile, you *do* remember that you have a total memory loss of
something. arrghh!

Yes, I understand why they need to have their diapers changed. It's a shame that they won't even allow you to that anymore.
