And yes, we all agree tomatoes are expensive this time of year, even in
Florida. I hear they had some things called HURRICANES which devastated
much of the crop; perhaps that, rather than condo-developers, explains your
higher prices.

tomatoes are 4.99. I like tomatoes but not that much

Mine are usually good to the end of November, but all the rain this year
and cool nights killed them!

I've got a new sweet 100's going, (it was a spring leftover at the
nursery, a leggy, unhappy looking semi-mature plant still in a 4" pot
that is now going great gangbusters in the garden!) and I'm hoping the
three new vines will do well in containers in the green house this
winter.

Anyone ever done container tomato plants?
Is a 3 gallon pot big enough????
