Korporal oder Gefreiter.

But I suffer from Carpool Tunnel syndrome, from my years of commuting.

Oh, come on! It's just another case of spell check's small letters
and bad eyes. The spell check problem of mine that screams for
attention after I can't take it back is misspelling amateur and
selecting armature as being correct.

Whatever you misspell or call it... it's still not "fun".

No it's not. I just had a whopper of a flare. Started with overuse of the
Ipad that I got for Christmas. Then I had to pull out a bunch of stripped
screws. I now have a bad screw removing tool. Wished I'd had it then!
Didn't even know such a thing existed but I found it when looking for
something else. I'm sure that the sink caulking didn't help either.

Had to get out the splint and use the Cat's Paw. That thing works better
than anything to ease the pain and numbness. The worst part for me was not
being able to use the Ipad for a few weeks.

Generally, I'm a pretty good speller but I always get hung up on
"amateur" for some reason. The spell check never seems to offer the
correct spelling, serving up armature every time. Maybe I'll just use
non-professional from now on.

Actually I already thought bigwheel is a moron which is why I k/f'd them
way back. Spell check sucks; I'd rather be responsible for my own typos.

This is the first I've heard of Cat's Paw. Found a link and will send
it to DD, who is in the beginning stages of Carpal Tunnel. Hopefully,
she won't need surgery if she tackles it well in the beginning.

Perhaps you should reconsider using a spell checker, Jill? ;-D

It's a word derived from French so the "eur" throws us for a loop. I
spell it "ure" when I'm not thinking about the weird way it's really
spelled.

It's on mine, but nowhere near the top of the list!

I have several so called "posters" k/f'd because they are unpleasant
assholes with no redeeming qualities, not for their spelling mistakes.

I've been using one since the 1980's. Actually only used it back then and
then sporadically after. It really helps!
