Our experiences with TJ's vegetables are vastly different. All the TJ's I've been to have great vegetables... but I am suspicious of their refrigerated meat because I've gotten packages that were bad. Most likely there was a breakdown somewhere in the distribution system, maybe a refrigeration unit went bad or the meat was simply left at room temperature at one point. > Mainly only go if my mom wants > something. Fortunately, the two closest to me are in shopping centers that are busy, but at least I can find a place to part fairly easily (which must be at the end of a row) and the lines go quickly - even if it's rush hour. > Have to drive around and around for a parking spot then usually > wait in line for a long time. Although I liked the store, I don't like where it's located (super busy shopping center with almost zero parking spots in the middle of the day in the middle of the week) so I probably won't return any time soon, if ever. -- Food is an important part of a balanced diet. |

They opened one in Alameda right after we moved. Looked like it was a big one too. The one here is very small which perhaps is why the lines are always so long. > >> Have to drive around and around for a parking spot then usually >> wait in line for a long time. Yeah. Stores like that are annoying. There was a health food store on Staten Island with not only no parking but not any street parking nearby. I guess you had to take a bus to get there. Or walk, if you lived close enough. |

I've been buying Wright's thick slice bacon. My last pkg had so much meat (70%-80%) I couldn't get a decent amt of drippings. I hadda look fer a less meaty pkg. A first in my life!! nb |
