I can actually print a lot faster than I can write in cursive. Cursive
never did come naturally to me and the way I chose to write it is not the
way we were taught. Nobody ever complained about my printing and in fact I
have gotten compliments on it.

Not here. They assume the kid will learn that at home. It's frustrating.
They expect the kids to type properly and quickly and yet they don't teach
them how to do this until high school.
