No, I didn't make it. I bought it. Was kind of afraid to try it after
tasting other cheeze sauces that didn't really taste like cheese or that horrid nut cheese that I bought recently. But this will go bad on 6/5 so warily had a tiny bite. Oh yum! Gonna make some nachos with this tonight. It tastes the most like real cheddar than anything else I ever tried. Too bad it's so expensive. |

So sick that I won't have it again. I used to get the nachos at Target but wouldn't be able to finish my shopping trip without a trip to the bathroom about halfway through. And then it was a race to get home where I would camp out in the bathroom again for most of the night. Believe me, eating cheese isn't worth it! |

Can't remember the brand of that one either but I would know it by sight. Don't think we can get Rico's here. Lately, daughter has been getting the Frito Lay kind. It's good but the other stuff is much cheaper. |

My current favorite is "El Mexicano" at about $2.50 a can. Add a can of Ro*Tel (I use the "Habanero HOT"), and nuke it 'till it's hot and runny. That is the good stuff that they sell at Winco. They do have other brands. We didn't try them because that one was so good! |

Pretty sure it was the same stuff that we had when I worked at the golf course. Comes in a big squeeze bag. |

Most of the ones I've been in have a lot of weird, American looking products and yet they are not things that you can get in our standard stores. I talk to some people online who are in Malaysia and Singapore. Both say that they have nachos there. But when they described them to me, they were not quite what we eat here. Their chips are oddly flavored for instance and they might put things like shrimp and curry powder on them. |

They have nacho flavor and cheddar flavor, and I usually get the cheddar. I think it might be Rico brand; I haven't bought it in a while. It freezes pretty well. It looks weird when it thaws, but is fine after you melt it again. It's a good ingredient to use in hotdish instead of condensed Cream of Soup, although it's not a direct substitute. Bob |
