The date in the upper right corner is July 2013, but the date under the byline is April 2008. I didn't have much luck finding out what happened. The case was dismissed. Read the byline of the reporter, it says By BETH HALE Last updated at 22:03 21 April 2008 Then read the article, which says, quote "Mr Hyde's lawyer Carl Person said a lawsuit was dismissed LAST YEAR when the claim was voluntarily withdrawn.". Date confirmed at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gordon_...al_proceedings "In June 2007, Ramsay's show was sued by the terminated general manager (Martin Hyde) of the New York restaurant Purnima (Dillon's), who also alleged fakery. Hyde had quit his position at the restaurant during the show, when Ramsay suggested that the owner hire top Indian Chef Vikas Khanna as the Consultant Chef for Purnima. The lawsuit alleged that "unknown to the viewing audience, some or all of Kitchen Nightmares are fake and the so-called 'problems uncovered and solved' by Ramsay are, for the most part, created by Ramsay and his staff for the purpose of making it appear that Ramsay is improving the restaurant".[59] However, in August 2007, the case was dismissed voluntarily and ordered into arbitration as stipulated in their contract.". IOW the "viewing audience" had seen the show in question broadcast before the court case date, June 2007. Janet Janet UK |

Thank you once more for your perspective. Truly in this forum I am a classic "newbie". I owe you one, of whatever you think that might be. Spin and Marty are not good people, and I see now that evidencing that publicly has largely doomed me here. So be it. Truth does matter, and so too does proof of those who dislike it. Things and people are what they are. It's what we choose to do with them that defines us. And so it goes... |

If you're interested in cooking, kill file them and any others of their ilk as they pop up and stay. Spin will do whatever he can to get your attention (nym shift, morph, frog) after you kill him, but it only proves he's an attention whore. > > Truth does matter, and so too does proof of those who dislike it. > > Things and people are what they are. > > It's what we choose to do with them that defines us. > > And so it goes... You make a sound point, and the farther back through his archive I wade the more I realize the man is damaged goods times ten. >> Truth does matter, and so too does proof of those who dislike it. >> >> Things and people are what they are. >> >> It's what we choose to do with them that defines us. >> >> And so it goes... > > Correct. > And some here, including the erstwhile ViLco enable them.
