Yogurt Mousse - a recipe from Mike Muth
This can be made with a variety of flavorings. I like the blend of black cherry and raspberry. Serves 6. 175 Calories, 5 grams net carbs, and 11 grams fat per serving. 1 cup heavy whipping cream 1/4 cup sucralose 1 pkg black cherry Jell-O 8 oz cream cheese 1 cup plain yogurt 4 Tbsp sugar-free raspberry syrup Combine the cream, 1 Tbsp of the sucralose, the syrup, and 1/3 of the Jell-O, in a bowl. Whip on low speed until cream begins to thicken. Increase speed slowly until you reach your mixer's highest speed. Continue to beat on high speed until the cream thickens and holds its form. In another bowl, whip the cream cheese until it is fluffy and smooth. Add the yogurt to the cream cheese. Beat on high until the two ingredients are well blended. Add the rest of the Jell-O then the whipped cream to the creamed cheese and yogurt. Use the same process to whip the mixture until it is smooth and stiff. Refrigerate and serve cold. -- Mike |
