Today I saw my neighbor open his front door and started fiddling around with something. I was waiting for my wife in the car. She tells me there's a big spider by our door and says she has to chase it away. She took a long time and came to the car all agitated like it was some big ordeal. "Those things jump and they're really fast!" Evidently my wife and neighbor were playing cane spider ping pong. I would have just brought the cat out and gave it the order to "KILL KILL!" |

It was impressive. Had a rare party and relatives were impressed. After, wind or bird knocked it down... It kept making webs, over my back door. Had to go out front door walk around, and knock down with broom... Three times. It finally left. Was big, about two inches. |

Korean consider it bad luck to kill a spider in the house, at least that's what my wife says. OTOH the cane spider is so large and causes such a ruckus that it's bad luck not to kill one in your house. At least, that's what I says. Small spiders, I ignore. Medium spiders I capture and evict them. Hawaiians think it good luck to have a gecko in the house and I agree. Our condo is infested with chickens in the parking lot. They make a lot of noise and are kind of a pest but I like them because they eat centipedes. I hate/fear those more than big cane spiders. > > > After, wind or bird knocked it down... I have posted to dozens of ngs and never had "people" spoof me and post ignorant comments pretending to be me. Why does this group attract assholes who think it is "funny" to do such things? back home in Italy, we had trolls that would make yours look like an antique. |
