Default On line Wine

I don't know if any of you order wine on line, but I have found some great bargains doing so.
I subscribe (free) to WTSO.com, which is an on line wine discounter and I buy from them on a regular basis. They have free shipping and they really DO discount.

Today WTSO.com is running a magnum promotion, one day only. They post different magnums of quality wines at deep discount and when those are gone they post another.

Amazon is also running wine promotions right now. I just bought 6 bottles of Smoking Loon for $36 with .01 cents shipping. (I'm a Prime member at Amazon). They are running a different wine every day with these great prices.

You might go check it out, there are some great buys out there.

I've posted here before about WTSO. Very reputable, and they pay
attention to things like the weather, and don't ship when it's too hot.

As a matter of fact, I have two boxes arriving today. A Sancerre, and a
Cotes du Rhone. 8

Note that shipping is only free with an order of at least four bottles.

And their Mad Wednesdays, with a different wine on sale every 15
minutes, can be addictive.

Are there some state laws that prohibit shipping wine? I know when I
lived in Tennessee the laws were ridiculous. You couldn't have wine
shipped to your house. The very thought offended some of the
Bible-belters. I don't know about South Carolina. It never occurred to
me to have wine delivered. I might just have to check into this.

Oh yes there are. I remember only 17 some states allowed it. Illinois limited
any out of state alcohol purchase to one gallon -- I don't know if they have
expanded it to a case.

Even in states that allow it, you might need an over-21 adult to sign for it.

That is not always true. Depending on what they are selling sometimes it is two, but usually those are the expensive bottles.

It is generally true. Exceptions are some very expensive bottles, and
magnums and larger (as in yesterday's magnum extravaganza).
