Default More Sriracha woes

Seems to me someone has it in fer Huy Fong. Now it's being penalized
for what? ....unstable pH levels?

http://www.myfoxla.com/story/2420408...-on-its-sauces

Hell, the entire World's oceans are having they're pH values
destabilized, to the point of almost destroying entire ecosystems.
Ppl are being poisoned by fracking compounds, oil dispersants,
pesticices, etc. Not to mention being outright killed by contaminated
foods. Nobody even cares. Yet a mere food company with no record of
actually harming anyone is being run through the wringer? Something
fishy is going on.

"....that residents say make their eyes burn and take their breath
away."

If that's the criteria for being banned, they should ban everything
with Sarah Jessica Parker face in it and all Victoria's Secret
catalogs.

heh heh.....

I see what you mean. I never heard of her, but now see she really can
multitask. VicSec material and homely at the same time! I never did
get the angular faced skeletor thing. She's got bony legs, too.
Never seen legs that are bow-legged and knock-kneed at the same time.
And chicken legs, ta' boot. If this is the new icon of beauty, gimme
a pinch of ugly.

Reminds me.... a couple weeks ago I mentioned that I had picked up a
bottle of Sriracha. I tried it with scrambled eggs. I liked it. My wife
noticed it right away and commented on the interesting taste.

Does Huy Fong pasteurize their sauce? Do they rely on the vinegar in it to retard spoilage? Maybe there's some microbe in there that ferments the sugar --
it's not sweet enough for the sugar to kill bacteria.

It is suspicious. Chili sauce typically has a pH of 4.5 or under. This is
way too acidic for most microbes to thrive. Plus the product is pasteurized
prior to bottling. The ERs in the world are hardly bursting at the seems
with victims of food poisoning caused by chili sauce. Most restaurants do
not even refrigerate the opened bottles. They are that safe and stable.

This sounds like Huy Fong isn't paying bribes. I know that city and I know
the city hall is as crooked as a dog's hind leg.

They do pasteurize, they do add vinegar. And rhe pH of the product is under
4.5.

No, this is about government officials demanding bribes. Often the courts
are just as corrupt.

Whenever I make scrambled eggs, I'll eat most of it "as is," but for
the last few bites, I'll often add a bit of ketchup. Sriracha, I
don't know....I like heat in some things but not as much as the
southwestern people seem to.

SJP looks a lot like a horse, and most of the Victoria's Secret models don't look much better.

Maybe you like fake.
