But what kind of nuts? Spanish? Roasted? Raw? How did you treat them? I
have tried! The peanuts are my favorite part. I can never make them come
out right.

unsalted roasted peanuts in the shell -- I shelled a bunch and stirred
them in with the popcorn after pouring the caramel sauce on the popcorn

I believe you! I make caramel popcorn occasionally. Hubby doesn't
want me to make it more often because it's like crack. If I added
peanuts, we wouldn't be able to make it last a day.

It is like crack. I make it perhaps every 6 years or so.

I make Fiddle Faddle each year at Christmas for my husband and another
batch to share with neighbors. Very dangerous stuff.
