Although I do think the holes were such that when I used it for spaghetti, the spaghetti was thin enough to slip out as it drained. And you had to cook the pasta with the lid on so you couldn't tell when it was done. I don't think you could remove the lid as it cooked.I tried to use it a couple of times and it rusted. When I complained of this to someone, they misunderstood and thought I wanted a second one. This was one of those As Seen On TV products and they claimed to have improved it. So I tried the new one. The lid got stuck on it. As in could not be removed unless perhaps I had some sort or power tool that I did not own. Plus it was a crappy pot. Not really big enough IMO for a pasta pot and made of really thin material. I had no trouble lifting it while full. Just getting the lid off. Now there could be others that are different. But this was a design I did not like. |
