I had a problem understanding what heavy cream meant, too, because I
never see anything labeled that way. Where I shop, it's labeled as
Heavy Whipping Cream. Since I never saw just heavy cream I've always
just bought whipping cream.

It's confusing. The one we've got now says "heavy whipping cream" so
that's kind of comforting; I have merged names.

Cool weather here but I gave it a try with dried white mulberry berries
and some meusli cereal (no wheat) and it was a tasty treat. I wouldn't
use heavy cream for this often, but this thread made me try it. I
think next time it will be with just 2% milk, maybe a little half and
half.

Ours is called 'double cream'. It is thick!
