I really do love football, but let’s be honest, a Super Bowl party is
all about the food! Ingredients: 1 tablespoon olive oil 1 medium onion, chopped 2 garlic cloves, chopped salt and ground pepper 2 tablespoons tomato paste 2 tablespoons chipotle chili powder 1 tablespoon cumin 1 pound ground turkey 1- 28 oz can diced tomatoes in juice 1- 28 oz can black beans, rinsed and drained grated cheddar, green onions, and sour cream for serving 24 sourdough dinner rolls [b:19c7f7e814] Instructions:[/b:19c7f7e814] In a large saucepan, heat oil then add onions and garlic until softened (about 3-5 minutes). Season with salt and pepper. Add turkey, tomato paste, cumin, and chipotle chili pepper, mixing and stirring frequently until the turkey is cooked all the way through. Add tomatoes and beans and bring to a boil. Reduce and simmer for 10 minutes before serving. Meanwhile, using a bread knife, cut a large circle into the tops of each of the sourdough rolls and pull off the top (usually taking with it the inside as well). Remove more bread from the inside if desired. View the attachments for this post at: http://www.jlaforums.com/viewtopic.p...8907#264568907 |
