Default Winco has Jiffy mixes!

For some reason, they never show up on product locators but it could be
because, like Costco, you never know for sure what they will stock. In the
past I have bought Tillamoos and big bags of hard boiled eggs. But those
are no longer. Same for the Sopes or Sopitos or whatever they were.

Anyway... Decided to go down the baking aisle and there were the brownies.
Also saw various cake mixes, muffins and other things. Didn't see the icing
but really didn't look for it.

So I stand corrected. You can get those things here. Just apparently not
most of the things, anywhere but there.

I rather suspect that Julie's husband and daughter refuse to peel eggs
themselves, and Julie doesn't like to do it because it's messy, and
then there are the bits of shell to deal with in the compost
container. Besides, the shells don't come off properly and all of the
eggs end up being mangled. And then someone will scream at her about
it.

But don't some of us on here feel like screaming at her and occasionally do. I suspect the screaming in real life is warranted.

Well we wouldn't put up with it but then we are not her. Until we have
walked a mile in her shoes ....
I don't really think she needs more of it from us

That's very kind and noble of you, but she asks for it as she probably does at home as well. I have tried to lay off, but it's tough for someone whose life runs by logic and reason and lots of fun. I continue to do my best, because I know you are correct about walking in her shoes and all that; I'll try to keep in mind.

Oh, c'mon. You don't really buy that do you? She exaggerates what

Nowhere did JulieN say or imply that her life was "perfect." You,
Ophelia, and Julie Bove have a way of twisting words and/or intent to
suit your current mood.

Why is it wrong? You could get a bag for about $3 and there were well over
a dozen eggs in here. I don't remember the exact amount. Would be great
for someone who wanted a lot of egg salad or deviled eggs right away. Or
for a person who had no way of cooking eggs.

We've had to live for extended periods of time with no means of cooking. I
used to buy boiled eggs by the dozen in PA. Sure those cost a little more
than uncooked eggs, but the ones at Winco did not. They do fill a need. And
they taste just like the eggs you make at home. They're just eggs!

Not everyone can. As I said in the reply to Mal, we've lived for extended
periods of time with no means of cooking. In hotels or motels or in a cabin
in PA. It did have a microwave but I don't think you can boil eggs in them.

I have an egg intolerance. It's so bad that if my skin comes into contact
with eggs, I get a nasty rash. So I try not to mess with them. They will
occasionally eat deviled eggs but neither one eats plain boiled ones very
often at all. Perhaps one or two around Easter time. At the time that I
bought those, daughter was on South Beach and I thought they would be good
for her to eat but she refused to try them.

Prior to learning of my egg intolerance, I have bough boiled eggs in smaller
quantities and for more money.

Perhaps you don't have Winco where you're at. But these sold for about $3 a
bag and there were more than a dozen eggs in there. So no more expensive
than buying raw eggs, even at Winco's cheap prices. You can get a huge bag
of cheese cubes too. I learned not to buy those though because while cheap,
we can't eat them all before they go bad.

Winco sells some things in restaurant sized proportions. Not everything,
but a lot of things give you that option. And their prices are akin to
Smart and Final/Cash and Carry, or in some cases cheaper. But in some cases
higher. Like loaves of bread.

Indeed. And nobody *lets* somebody else do something like screaming at
them. Unless that person is a toddler or very young child, there isn't much
you can do to stop them. Even then, good luck with that! Best you can do
to a person older than that is to walk out, but that won't stop them because
they may well just start up again when you come back. Or... Tell them that
their behavior is unacceptable. And if they're a dyed in the wool screamer,
they probably won't care.

That's very kind and noble of you, but she asks for it as she probably does
at home as well. I have tried to lay off, but it's tough for someone whose
life runs by logic and reason and lots of fun. I continue to do my best,
because I know you are correct about walking in her shoes and all that; I'll
try to keep in mind.

Good thing you're not a cop! You probably think raped women ask for it too.

You think my life runs by lots of fun? I'd like to see you be disabled
then. And diabetic. And have food intolerances. Oh sure. Lots of fun!

I know you didn't ask me but... You were being a bitch! There. I said it
so you must have asked for it. Right?

Oh really? I'd ask you to prove it but you won't so it would be futile.
I've seen a lot of people twist my words and I know that sometimes I do
misunderstand things but I don't twist words and I haven't seen Ophelia do
it either.

You didn't know this about me because I don't do this!

I never said any of that crap about the eggs! People just make stuff up
about me and look where it goes! A mile long chain of threads posted when I
wasn't even home and all a bunch of nonsense. And then somehow in the end
it will be my fault! What is wrong with you people! I may not be perfect
and I may be the biggest smart ass that ever lived but I don't go around
posting crap about people.

Trying to get these people to stop is just as futile as trying to get
someone (whoever that someone might be) to stop screaming at me.

No! She was calling Julie The Bove. I called her The Nils. She didn't
seem to like that. Why not? Can't say it bothers me that much but come on.
Sauce for the goose ... She seemed to think it would make her popular by
going for the favourite target. I was trying to explain that it didn't.

Bullying. It is really sad. I had real respect for you until you started
hounding Julie. 9 hours ringing any bells? Is it starting all over again?

She isn't everybody's cup of tea, but only people who enjoying bullying
refuse to put her in killfile. You did eventually, May I surmise you have
taken her out for another go?

Seriously, this is what you got out of what I said? What is wrong with you?

There really is no need to engage with you anymore.

9 hours is important to you. Did you consider that on this side of
the pond some of us work and sleep? And 4 messages in that time that
I lost my temper? I've lost my temper with her twice because she
persists in telling obvious falsehoods about a company (s). What bugs
you is that I called Julie on a lie and then after you dumped on me I
said that you were her enabler.
I've noticed that you are willing to get in on a gang bang with your
comments after some others begin to jump on an individual. I also
notice that you persist in trailing after Janet UK and picking at her
again and again without cause. Even going so far as to introduce a
subject complete with profanity and her name. Isn't that bullying?
Why are you so interested in me? Why not the others that challenge
Julies's stories? I suggest that you do as you advise and use your
killfile.
Oh, and the only person I put in a killfile was you.
Janet US
