Sounds like crab cake on...wheat bread?
I would like that with 2 sides. Coleslaw and fries.

Sounds like a big mac on rye. with fries thankyou.

I can buy and make that so much cheaper though.

- 3oz rib eye for $1.00
- 2 eggs for about 30 cents
- baked potato or hash browns for about 25 cents.
I would like some buttered toast with that though.

Interesting menu, Jill. Thanks for posting it. I like seeing them.

Yeah, it's a crab cake on (hopefully) toasted bread.

It does, doesn't it? Their fries are "steak fries". They used to
ask if you wanted regular or sweet potato fries. They haven't asked me
which kind of fries I'd like for a while. Maybe the older folks here
don't like sweet potato fries. <shrug>

Thanks, Gary. I think they're fun and often funny.

That's a pretty good after dinner drink, if you can find a bartender who knows the recipe. Most have never heard of it.

Hah. The first time I ever heard of it was in 1970 on a very warm day
in San Juan in a seaside bar. An older, overdone woman at the next
table was trying to order it and the waiter had never heard of it. She
kept insisting "It's equal parts creme de menthe and cream de cacao."

We couldn't imagine a worse-sounding drink in that heat, while everyone
else was drinking fruity, icey rum things.

Not me. That Blue Plate Special is just a cheap breakfast meal. I
don't care for steak and eggs either. I prefer bacon or sausage with
eggs. The 4oz ribeye, I'd turn into a good steak sandwich with onions
on buttered toast.

The other choices appeal more to me assuming -
1) The crab cake is spiced well
or
2) The burger is made from a good beef cut

Quite right! And any of those 3 will suffice! Even just 'O' will do )
LOL I've had that nickname since school days. We put on a (very) small
production of Hamlet. Guess which part I played <g> And it stuck)

Did you ever see the Arnold Schwarzenegger movie, "Last Action Hero?"
(1993)

There was a very funny short clip in that. Arnold was playing Hamlet
and the screen showed him sitting outside and you could see a large
castle in the background. Arnold/Hamlet says, "To be or not to be."
<then a short pause> then he says, "Not to be." And he pushes a
remote control and you see the castle in the background blow up in a
giant explosion and flames. LOL@ I loved that. :-D

If you google arnold to be or not to be, you might get to watch it on
youtube.

Yep. Personally, I would dislike his choices a lot, but they are his
choices.

Sorry, can't help you with that. The only recipe I come up with in a
search is this:

http://www.bluecrab.info/forum/index.php?topic=4995.0

It isn't something you'd serve "on Wheat". It is, as Steve Wertz
pointed out, served in the crab shell. Like stuffed crab.

Their menus and what they call things certainly are entertaining.

Yes, the way that was served was part of the problem. I wonder what
they did (as vs. what one would think of when one sees that name). It
doesn't look like the mixture would be very cohesive.

I am increasingly seeing recipe names that don't really belong with the
foods that are labeled with them.
