Default Cherries

Tonight we had the best chocolate covered cherries we've ever had!

I ordered some from John Kuthe. He's been bragging about them for a few
years and after a taste, yes he has bragging rights.

Knowing he has some leakers I still took a chance and yes, a couple were
broken in spite of how well they were packaged. It just made the inside
a little sticky, but the chocolate and the cherry were still edible.

I gave my wife one and when she bit into it, it was a near orgasmic
experience for her. I took one and wow, it gave a burst of flavor that
was fantastic. The quality of the chocolate is top notch and it is a
real bing cherry, not like the ones sold commercially.I'll buy them again
if John keeps making them.

Thanks Ed. Yeah, these Chocolate Covered Cherries didn't travel well
at all, as one of my other RFCers fed back to me:

Crying shame, I'll tell ya! :-( :-( :-(

But thanks for the positive feedback on the flavors! Yeah, I have a
local female friend who calls my Chocolate Coverd Cherries "Orgasms"
too!

Thanks for the feed back, Ed. John's chocolate cherries sounded
fantastic and if I thought my husband would appreciate them in the
slightest, I would have ordered a box - but he doesn't like cherries
in any way, shape or form. So the rest of the story goes unsaid.

I'm sure he'll be pleased. I imagine he put a lot of work into them.

I'm happy for Ed's wife! Can you imagine getting a box of chocolate
cherries with a liquid center for no special occasion? Oh, my!

Yes, I'm sure she was thrilled, and especially since they were wonderful.

Oh heavens, you have NO IDEA how much work/worry I put into them!
Bloody things failed in grand style on me too, twice! I repaired them
for the most part the first time, and now they have exploded on me
again and almost ALL the ones I have left are leaking in their little
candy papers!! :-(

Guess I'll have to eat them all! Oh darn! ;-)

They have almost all self-destructed now. I have all my leftovers each
in their little candy papers and sitting flat in plastic storage bins,
and when a local friend came over last evening to buy a pound, I was
desperaterly looking for non-leakers to replace pieces in her pound
box!

Guess I have a lot of leftovers to eat! :-)

I used to love them. My wife has never liked them, but she used to buy
them for me all the time. I guess I once made the mistake of saying I
liked them, like the time I said I liked ham and Swiss sandwiches and
got them in my lunch every day for months. It would not have been bad to
have one or two in a box, but not a whole box of them.

I know what you mean Dave! I have so many of these delicious bloody
cherries now, they are starting to lose their appeal to even me! And I
created the bloody things!

No, not at all! That was my plan. I figured if I sold any of them,
that would be a good thing, but at worst, I'd get stuck with a lot of
delicious Chocolate Covered Cherries! And as it turned out, I sold
quite a few AND got stuck with a lot of delicious Chocolate Covered
Cherries! :-)

I just wonder where my nattering naysayer of negativism is? ;-)

I have one way, Diouble coating the chocolate. I did that with one as
a way to save it and it was the most leak-proof cherry ever! I uzse
more chocolate which I am not opposed to, but it's really too much
chocolate in one bite, and aklters the cherry juice chocolate fl;avor
profile I know and love so much.

I think too that it may be because I used a different dark chocolate
for the Valentine's Day Chocolate Covered Cherries. I used some I got
a good deal on from Chocoley.com:

I normally get my dark dipping chocolate for my Chocolate Covered
Cherries for Christmas from a local chocolatier, Chocolate Chocolate
Chocolate:

I think this may have affected the leak situation. I need to go back
to the local stuff I get and see. And I will, Christmas 2014!

So look out next Valentine's Day! And I have the emails of those who
bought some this year. And some are deserving of more free samples!
:-)

I've meant to ask you about that , John. WTH is with that "destroyed"
package (link to picture above)?
There's NO WAY *that* arrived in someone's mail.

It looks like some dog ripped the package open and ate a few..
If someone here claimed that that's how they received your
candy.....bullshit! >:-|
