Grilled Ham and Cheese
Served on Wheat Choice of Side $7.50 Crab Cake Sandwich With Tartar Sauce, Lettuce and Tomato on a Soft Bun Choice of Side $9.75 Blue Plate Special Pear and Blue Cheese Salad Served with Grilled Chicken $9.50 As far as the Club goes, I've pretty much decided, except for an occasional meal here and there... I'll just buy a small wine rack. Something very simple, similar to this: http://www.kohls.com/product/prd-654...CID=shopping15 tiny: http://tinyurl.com/n2phqye Buying a bottle of wine or two each month, it wouldn't take much to use up that assessment. I'd be stashing away wine to cook with. ![]() Jill |

I'd be stashing away wine to cook with. ![]() I don't get the association between club meals and a Kohls wine rack... I'm sure you can buy all those wines for less than half the Club price at a local package store... yeah, like you'll be stashing away all that wine for cooking. hehe |

The only association is I'd be buying wine towards the assessment and would need a way to store it. The Kohl's wine rack was merely an example I found online. I've never shopped at Khol's. It wasn't an endorsement. That one looked rather sturdy. >I'm sure you can buy all those wines for less than half the > Club price at a local package store... Package store? Wow. Sorry, no package stores around here. Yes, I could buy the wine for less. But then I'd still owe the Club money for the dining assessment. You really don't grasp this, do you? >yeah, like you'll be stashing away all that wine for cooking. hehe > Hehe yourself. I like to cook with wine. The idea of having wine stashed on a rack which also helps me meet the dining assessment is a good thing. Jill |

Exactly, and let's face it, if you don't spend that assessment on something, it is money lost to you! At least this way you are seeing something for it. -- http://www.helpforheroes.org.uk/shop/ |

If you could afford it, it is a nice piece of furniture and you can get plenty in it. -- http://www.helpforheroes.org.uk/shop/ |

Sandwiches are usually served with russet or sweet potato "french fries". The problem is, their "fries" are awful. Why does that not surprise me? <g> But talking about fries - I'm fairly sure (our local) McDonald's potato fries must be preserved/processed with formaldehyde - or something really close... I came to this conclusion because my son sometimes goes to one of the McDs outlets here and buys a burger and fries for lunch... And one time - when he was doing his weekly cleaning out of his car - he found a half a packet of fries he didn't finish under his seat (guess it slipped down there somehow and must have been there for at least three or four days...) Anyway, he came to show these fries to me (shaking his head in amazement) because there was no mold and/or other 'furry' stuff growing on them; in fact they didn't look (or smell) any different from when one buys them 'fresh'. I guess I'm a sucker for punishment, because I still buy and eat them sometimes myself. ;-) -- Cheers Chatty Cathy |

They don't call them milkshakes. Carl's Jr. (Hardee's) sells milk shakes. McD's, BK and Wendy's do not. --B |

However we can buy decent tomatoes (grown locally) at very reasonable prices. The potatoes and 'mielies' (corn) she planted are coming along nicely, so I'm looking forward to eating those <g> -- Cheers Chatty Cathy |
