I'm not surprised, especially because it's the first one in the area.
We have so many around here that it only takes a few days for the
commotion to die down - yours might be more like a month, but
eventually you'll be fine if you avoid shopping immediately after work
and Sunday late afternoon, early evening when it's a madhouse - but to
TJ's credit, they do move their lines quickly! Costco is another one
that can move long lines quickly.

I think the last thing I stood in line for was the first showing of
"9 to 5" with my feminist friends ;o) The air was redolent with
marijuana and we all had plenty to drink. Good times sigh.

Probably a professional marketing stunt. Still herd animals tend to follow
each other around, monkey see monkey do!

I don't have a favorite. I still laugh at the nonsense.

Agree with sf. We are talking Boise, not the Bay Area or Seattle. The
next rash of long lines hereabouts will be when the legalized
recreational pot shops open in Washington.

When TJ's opened here it was a madhouse. I waited a month before I went and it was still a packed parking lot and store. It's always busy but not the madhouse it was when it first opened. Wait a while before you venture in if you don't like crowds or lines.

And shop before noon. They open at 8, so get there when the doors
open and you'll have the place almost to yourself.

You should go at least once if you have one near you. It's a great little store and fun to shop in.
