I've got a couple of friends who go to Cuba every year. And every year they come back complaining about the food. It seems that the resorts can not do a proper roast chicken.
I've heard that Cuban food is delicious, but the resorts try and make EuroFood, and end up falling on their backSides. A Cuban fellow I know told me that Cuban food is great, but if good food is desired, stay away from the resorts. Does anyone agree/disagree? |

He was planning to go to Cuba. I told him my brothers had been there and liked it but were really disappointed in the food.... chicken, beans and rice. He is a thrifty fellow and went there because it is cheap. He came back complaining about the food. He goes every year, and every year he complains about the food. Is the Cuban guy you know living in Cuba or in some expat community where they eat the old style good Cuban food? |

No. Her and her friend go there only on vacation. Usually 2 weeks in December and 4 weeks in February/March. Apparently the lobster is edible. But hey, you only have to boil it with lemon and bay leaf. |
