Default Inka Corn

I discovered Inka Corn at Big Lots today. It is addictive -- a salty,
crunchy, giant Corn Nut.

Big Lots has Inka Corn every now and then; guess its time for me to see if
my local one has any. Inka Corn is what Corn Nuts once were; I recall the
Corn Nuts of my youth being much bigger than those of today and had a panel
on the back telling of cuzco corn from somewhere in South America. Now,
Corn Nut are only big in the photo on the bag ("enlarged to show detail")
and small in the bag. I can't say that they taste much different; but, the
large kernels have nostalgic appeal.

Happy crunching 8-)

They're fried in palm olien (i.e. palm oil),
which is a highly saturated fat -- bad for
your cardiovascular system.

I'd be more worried about my teeth. It's not as if Inka Corn (or Corn
Nuts) are going to be the staple food of their diet.

What!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You mean I shouldn't eat 20-25 bags of it each week???
I suppose it is a good thing that I can only find it often enough to have a
couple of bags per year. 8-)
