Default One of the Dataw Lunch Specials 3/12/2014

Hot Roastbeef Wrap
Roastbeef, Sautéed Onions, Horseradish
Cream Sauce in a Tortilla Shell
Choice of Side
$9.00

When I hear/read the words tortilla "shell" I think crisp tortilla, as
for tacos. And isn't roast beef two words?

Oh I dunno! To the French "un Rosbif" is a derogatory term for an
Englishman.

Yes and Yes... and sauteed onions AND horseradish cream sauce is TIAD.
I don't think I'd like a hot roast beef wrap, I think I'd prefer a
cold roast beef wrap with the horseradish cresam sauce, but for
dipping. When the say "Choice of Side" why don't they list the
sides... I'll have a red head with freckles and big boobs. lol

LOL I can't say I've seen a red head with freckles there, not even among
the wait-staff. Oh wait, I think one of the sous chefs is a red-headed
young man. <wink>

I would prefer a hot French Dip sandwich.

As for the sides, they don't spell them out because it's whatever they
also have for sides outside of the specials. Could be french fries
(white potatoes or sweet), cole slaw, a small salad.

Yes, Roast Beef is two words.
This is truly a strange lunch. Is it a soft tortilla wrap or a crunchy
fried shell?
I can <sort of> imagine slivered roast beef in a cream sauce inside of a
crepe, perhaps that is what they were going for but using a heartier
flour tortilla seemed easier?

Quite possible! I often find the wording of these specials to be...
well, special.
