There is such a thing as a shampoo brush and only one hand is needed
to shampoo the entire head... there are many types but I use the one
from the Kent brush company, excellent.

I wanted some area rugs or those mats in the kitchen, not for fatigue
but to catch droplets of water as I walk from sink to stove or prep
area and haven't not because of stains, but because wood darkens
naturally in the daylight and I'd end up with a patchwork of lighter
wood if I put piecemeal floor coverings everywhere.

LOL! I was thinking, if Janet is going to be in the RV camp, they have
water hookups. A hose (or a bucket of water) might work.

> Would it be possible to hie thee to an honest-to-goodness hair dresser? Polly

After my brother had surgery I had to wash his hair over the kitchen
sink. This is not something I was trained to do. I managed, but I'd
rather not have to wash someone elses hair.

Yep, depending upon where you have to go. I've never had to evacuate
(knock wood) but I suppose if you wound up in some sort of shelter after
a major disaster they would be handy to have.

I had my hairdresser trim it last week when I went to get my nails done.

I have always had rather curly hair, but after it grew back from having
lost it to chemo, it came in really, really curley. Like a lambs coat
or like my Toy Poodle. All I need is to dry it with a towel, put a
little silk serum on it, brush the sides and back down and let the curly
top do its thing.

My head gets sweaty so I need to wash it frequently. I'm living with
every other day.

Default Hair washing in the RV

We bought a little shower bench that will fit in the RV shower today.
Problem solved!

Thank you Janet. Her doctor seems to think they can keep it under
control with chemo and other medications for as long as she lives and
her exact words were that it wasn't a death sentence. But when I hear
of cancer spreading to the lungs, it scares the shit out of me.
Apparently they were rectal cancer cells found in her lungs from the
fluid biopsy and they don't really think it's grabbed hold yet.

That's very true. Light will affect hardwood floors and small rugs on
them should be moved often. If a small rug stays in one place too
long, the floor will be a different color underneath if you ever
decide to move it.

As for the rubber backed rugs, they are great but they have a limited
life. Replace them every year or two. Once they get old, the rubber
backing will stick to your floors and not the rug. It's a real chore
to remove the rubber from your floors.

A very close family member has had a form of cancer of the pancreas
for over 7 years. She is active, has a job and does all that anyone
else does. She also has lots and lots of regular doctor appointments,
tests and sometimes scares. She has had other cancers appear
elsewhere in her body and new and additional treatments have either
shrunk the cancers or made them go away. The point is that she has a
good quality of life. Help your sister to think and stay positive.

My wife's hair grew back curly at first, but straighted out mostly when it
got long. It also grew back way more lush. It was very thin before.
Funny, but everywhere else the hair grew back thinner. Her scalp was the
only place that I massaged in a salve that I made from raspberry ketone.
It was fun touching her hairless head, but hair is even nicer.

Bryan is a perv (but maybe just temporarily). Notice he didn't say
that he loves washing his wife's hair or his wife's lack of hair. At
this point in his change of life I wouldn't be surprised if he would
do any female animal large enough to have sex with him. He seems to be
in love with his fictional women in his book. Enjoy your fantasies,
Bryan, just NEVER cheat on your wife.

Janet's husband is cool to help her with anything. That's what a true
loving relationship is all about...."For better or worse."

I had a customer years ago. Husband and wife with grown kids off to
college. Both were very healthy and energetic. The wife got lime
disease (that's what I was told). She eventually couldn't even talk
other than slurring words, could barely walk. she became an invalid.
Mr "cool" husband was still healthy and energetic. He left the house
every chance he could get and within a year he left her and divorced
her. I hope he rots in Hell. >:-o

No, Gary. I am far more selective than almost any male you've ever
known, and it has nothing to do with propriety.
>
> He seems to be in love with his fictional women in his book.

I'm not in love with either Winter, nor even Ann, though I do love them
deeply, in the same way that I love Ian. I am, however, as a result of
the changes brought on by the book, more "in love with love" than I've
ever been, and that says a lot. The book is about--among other things--
expansive love. I do, when actually engaged in writing, have to go
totally into character, but it's just a role.

It would be very difficult to "CHEAT," as we aren't playing a game, and
your sexual mores mean nothing to us.

My wife and I signed our marriage certificate in our own comingled
blood. The depth of our love is not questioned by anyone who knows us.
I don't believe in Hell. That is a supid fairy tale thing that comes
from the same asinine Abrahamic mythologies as the mainstream culture's
ideas on sexual propriety, but I understand that it can be just an
expression. After all, I'm the one who wrote and sang Ronald Reagan Rot
in Hell.

Let me ask you and anyone else who cares to answer this--
What if the "cool" husband loved her and cared for her, and
was 100% committed to her, BUT occasionally sought sexual
activity elsewhere?

I know this, that if either my wife or I became unable to have sex, we'd
insist that the healthy one find others for physical pleasure.

Sexual exclusivity works well for us, and has for many years, but
philosophically we are sex-positive persons. We enjoy each others'
happiness, and there is very little feeling of sexual possessiveness.
We haven't worn wedding rings in probably 15 years, and both believe
that any consensual sexual doings that are accompanied by a benevolent
mindset are almost always good, that love breeds more love, and that
it's not a zero sum thing.

Shame on you. RR was the best we've had in my lifetime, imo.
I hope you wrote an evil song for JFK and Johnson too. You don't want
to talk about those 2 *Democrats* but they were awful presidents. Read
the history and hate them too.

I can only speak for myself and not sex pervs like you.
To love someone enough to get married, I take the vows seriously...for
better or worse, in sickness and health. Same thing with a serious
girlfriend.

If I'm in love with someone, I will be her guy and no one elses. I
don't even have a desire to be with anyone else. A true good
relationship is not about good looks and sex. We all get older and
eventually lose the good looks, and even in long-term relationships,
the sex is not so often nor is it required often. It's about bonding,
best friends,soul-mates, "for better or worse."

You need to keep that 3" thing in your pants and concentrate on loving
your wife and quit fantasizing about other women. You constantly
embarrass yourself here. She really is a "keeper* if for no other
reason than she puts up with your nonsense.
