You are probably correct in thinking that people would still think you are lying. There has been several threads that have developed over whether or not you are a writer. People claimed to have read messages posted by you where you used the words "I am a writer". Those words came from your keyboard several times over a period of years and as recently as last month. You denied having said that. It is a matter of credibility, and you have none.... none.... zero. You have made a number of outrageous claims that looked like lies and which turned out to have been fabricated. Granted, there are a few people who are naive enough to give you yet another chance, but most well informed and intelligent people will look at your record of misinformation and outright lies and dismiss future claims as lies because you have proved yourself to be dishonest.... a liar. |

I sure don't blame you there. Good call. Try to email me again. If it bounces, let me know that it did and quote the reason that they say. In the past, AT&T has blocked all people from certain ISP's for some reason or another. If it bounces again, I'll get an addy from aol.com and maybe that will work. I actually DO have an AOL addy (just to sign on to the Eternal September ng thing). I'm sure I saved the name and password for that but I'll have to find it. As I said, I read every single day, fiction and non-fiction. If your husband writes popular books, I might be interested in checking one out. I'm always *up* to find a new favorite author. One of my favorite authors is James Michener. I like his books because he starts with real history but then personalizes it with fiction, enhancing the real people's lives. I'm only about 30 pages away from re-reading, "Alaska." I might re-read "Hawaii" soon too. Those two and "Chesapeake" are my favorites by him. My favorite non-fiction books are my daughter's old college textbooks. One is Geology and the other is Earth Science. G. |
