Default A simple but good bean pot

I make these all the time and figured a little message with a ecipe
that isn't flames or spam mght come in handy.

8 oz or so dried black eyed peas
2 smoked ham hocks
1 TS (or a bit more) black pepper
2 TS salt
1 TB chicken broth granules (I used a kosher powder but vary with what
you have)

Add water to crockpot near top over it all. Set on low until done.
Leave on low for next 2 days.

Mini warning if we have any non-cooks here. Crockpots shifted temps so
an older one may not be food safe on low for that long and may have to
use high to cook safely. It should be a low simmer when cooking once
it heats up fully.
