I must admit I've never used one for any length of time, but I find
old fashioned books easier on the eyes over extended periods than a
screen.

I haven't tried a Kindle. I don't normally do a lot of reading except for
on the computer. But I went through the books like crazy when I was laid up
with my foot. I did notice that when I was ordering books, many of the real
books got good reviews while the Kindle versions did not, for various
reasons.
