Default Japanese Salt Bread

Has anyone ever tasted or made Japanese salt bread? Have a recipe you'd
like to share?

Thanks -- Larry

No, but I have a recipe for Japanese Milk Bread that someone gave me a
couple of days ago. How did you hear about Japanese Salt Bread?
Google isn't telling me anything about it - are you sure you're not
looking for Salt Rising Bread?

I have an interest in Japanese foods, have been to Japan, shop regularly at
a Japanese market, speak Japanese, and have never heard of such a thing.
Since the Japanese had essentially no indigenous bread making traditions
before the arrival of the Portuguese, I would expect that this is an
imported recipe and I would not be surprised to discover that it is an
analog to a Portuguese or Dutch recipe. Please let us know if you find a
recipe.

I found it mentioned in an article on Japanese Milk Bread, which
included a recipe. Google has drawn a blank...
