They were already selling them for that price today, but it turns out
they're pre-brined, so it's more the eqivalent of $1.69, but they're very
nicely brined. Even the drummie section was very moist after frying.

So, I went up there and bought 4 more packages for the deep freeze.

OK, these are easily the best chicken wings I've ever had. They are so
perfectly brined that I couldn't do it better myself. I could only fit two
more into my deep freeze or I'd have bought more.
