Used to be a place in Seattle called Tlaquepaque. Not my cup of tea. Made you pay if you wanted chips and salsa and you only got a tiny amount. Everything was small plates and at least $8 per plate. They recommended that each person order at least three plates. This was back in the 80's where for $24, you'd expect to have at least a nice steak dinner somewhere. The worst thing about this place was the acoustics. Very loud in there. So loud you could not have a conversation. And the big drink was the tequila slammer. Which only added to the noise. |
