Default Truffle infused Olive Oil

Have just been given a small tin from France of 'Truffle-infused' Olive oil.

I've never had truffles and guess they might be quite a delicate flavour. So
what would be a good way to consume this? Fry something gently in the oil?

Grateful for any suggestions please.

Don't cook with it. Us it as a drizzle on something.

Well us po folks aint never owned nothing quite that fancy and you is indeed fortunate to snag that. Would suggest following the other folks good advice and dont cook with it. If It should make an appearance at my crib..I would measure some out in a plate and mix it 50/50 with Bragg's Raw Filtered Organic apple cider vinegar and mop it up with some crusty french bread. Maybe served by a cute french maid in a short skirt with hairy pits. This is all coming back now. Little French Wine to wash it down with. If you ever get the Braggs you will throw out the high dollar Balsamics. It has the "Mother."

I agree. It loses it's essence when heated up as a cooking oil.

I like to add it to scrambled eggs at the very end of cooking, for instance.

Or mix it with melted butter and whatever else as a steak topping. I've
never had truffles either, but everyone says there's a fine line between
enough to really taste, and too much. Actually, scrambled eggs would be a
good start because eggs are cheap.
