Texture is a big thing for me too. Thankfully I grew up in a house of picky
eaters so nothing was really forced upon me unless we were having a rare
lean time and had no other food. Although the Weight Watcher's year wasn't
so good. It was bad enough that my friends learned to ask what was for
dinner before agreeing to stay. Liver once a week. White fish about 4
times a week either poached in tomato juice or water and dill weed. Wedge
of plain iceberg and some French style canned green beans. Not sure what we
ate on the other days but they apparently weren't memorable. We did try
spaghetti squash once.

There are a lot of picky eaters out there. I have joined a few picky eaters
groups and apparently most of them are so embarrassed about their eating
that they will take great pains to hide the pickiness from others. The live
in terror that someone will make fun of them. Obviously that is not me.
But... Most of the other picky eaters I have come across say that I am not
one. Because I eat a far larger variety of things than they do.

Cheryl, the difference is that you don't comment on nearly every food
post that you dislike. Most of us have our likes and dislikes but we
don't feel the need to announce them regarding every post.

Surely you can see this.

All I can say is that if it bothers you, don't read it. We can't all
conform to everyone else's expectations.

I enjoy your posts so I read them. There are others here whose posts I
dislike so I don't read them. It is very simple really! The complaints are
getting worse than the things being complained about.

I tried that. You, sf and a couple others are apparently compelled to
reply to everything she posts so we get exposed to it anyway. You won't
let us ignore it.

Then ignore us! Surely that is the answer? I certainly don't respond to
everything she writes btw

What is so hard about killing posts that were started by her? You
were the absolute worst at perpetrating a thread with her as the
subject. You couldn't kill that topic, you were absolutely compelled
to post to it. While you're at it, you need a news reader that can
kill subthreads too. That way you'll never see replies to her again.
