What kind of ideas are you looking for? - You have the bread and you want to know what to do with it? BLT or a variation, of course. - Want to know what bread to buy? Or make soup, and dip in your soup as you eat your soup. Put butter on it. Put mayo on it. Put whipped lard with chopped pickles and herbs on it. Or make sandwiches. If not good enough for such things, then either buy/make better bread, or go without. Of make bread soup, or bread and butter pudding, or cut/tear into small bits, fry some sliced chorizo, add the bread and break some eggs into it, and make chorizo-bread-scrambled eggs (garlic, onions, green onions, chilli, herbs as you see fit). |

So are all kinds of bread! I buy a locally made honey whole wheat. It's perfect for toast and toasted cheese sandwiches but I don't care for it for anything else. |

Traditionally, olive oil in a shallow bowl, with some balsamic vinegar poured in (the oil will float on the vinegar). Maybe 3 parts oil to 1 part vinegar? Not mixed, but you could. A Mediterranean standard. > > on it. Put whipped lard with chopped pickles and herbs on it. > > I don't think I've ever had whipped lard. Sounds delicious. It is. German, probably Bavarian. I don't know what it's called. |

Wheat bread made with fresh ground wholemeal flour, toasted with butter and maybe a little sorghum syrup is incredibly good. Store bread is a distant second. |
