Years ago I got one of these, and enjoyed using it. I put it away two
years ago when I moved, and I just found it again. I have a batch of "salad mix" sprouting right now. I've owned several sprouters over the years, and they just didn't work out. I had a glass one that sort of worked, but the cats knocked it off the shelf and broke it. I next got one that consisted of a burlap sack; it sort of worked as well, but I had to be scrupulous about keeping it clean lest it rotted, and it had to be hung somewhere while sprouting to catch the drips. The Sproutamo is all plastic, so is almost unbreakable, and it catches its own drips when you rinse the seeds. I find it very easy and convenient to use. www.sproutamo.com I usually get my seeds from Starwest Botanicals; they are not especially cheap, but they have a nice selection and have been very dependable over the years. They're a pretty good source for bulk spices, as well. www.starwest-botanicals.com |

Still have the lid in the container drawer. |

My favorite sprouts were chickpea and radish. This is where I got my seeds and supplies: http://sproutpeople.org/ |
