Default Grilled scallops and other stuff

Hi RFC. We had a cookout for my mom today and I found sea scallops on
sale for 14.99/lb and I bought 1.5 lbs. Just very simply grilled on
high heat, basted with melted butter and finely chopped garlic. Everyone
just raved about them! My brother grilled chicken breasts to
perfection, topped with avocado, bacon and pepper jack cheese. We
grilled the veggies, mushrooms, bok choy, asparagus. Add a green salad
and pasta salad, and it was a magnificent meal. The weather was just
lovely, sunny and temps in the mid 60s. Perfect for outside eating.

Sounds like great food and a lovely day. Mmmmm scallops, but everything else
sounds really good too. :-)

she enjoyed it and it made her happy, so we were happy. Found out we
have a new family member joining us in Dec. - my niece is pregnant.
This will be my second great-whatever with the first being a 3 year old
great niece who is just so much fun to be around. She was there, too. I
also brought over home made ice cream and the poor thing got an ice
cream brain freeze, probably her first. She cried and I felt so bad for
her. Those things really do hurt.

Awwww, poor little girl. Yes, an ice cream brain freeze can be very
painful. I don't drink milk shakes very often but when I do I have to
tell myself to sip slowly, otherwise OUCH!

Gosh, thanks! Not something I've ever heard of ... or experienced so far as
I am aware!
