Default OT A Star Among You

About a yerar and a half ago DH and I aqnswered a casting call for
extras in a movie with Robert Duvall called "A Night in Old Mexico"

I saw myself in a trailer a few months ago when the movie was released
in Austin.

Today the movie was available for rent on Dish so we rented it and damn
if I didn't have about 4 seconds of face time!

DH showed me where the back of his head would have been in the scene he
was in. BFD.

I was a true "star" and I'm danged proud of it.

Here is me. I am arguing with another resident of the trailer park

Yeah.... we know a starlet ;-)
When we watched Dumb and Dumber my wife said that one of the ambulance
attenents at the end of the movie looked like her cousin's husband. It
turned out to be him. Like you, he responded to a call for extras. .

Now I see there's a contest to be an extra in the new Star Wars.
Go for it!

It was a shirt from wardrobe and I was acting that I was arguing with
the other person.

I have acted in community theater, too.

We weren't arguing about anything. We were pretending to have an
argument. We were acting.

It's cool, isn't it? Back in 1986 a movies called "Teen Wolf, Too" was
partially filmed at a college I worked at during the summer. I was not an
extra but my truck was. It got a good 10 seconds in a background shot. And
they even washed it for me. Pity the movie sucked ass.

Thank you! I was supposed to be ragging on the guy. I was not listed in
the credits. We did look.

I cashed my check, and that was good enough. DH actually got fed a nice
meal but he wound up on the cutting room floor. :-)
